What a great morning! Today my family and I had the wonderful opportunity of volunteering for this year’s “Trash Bash”. Basically, we picked an area and then picked up trash. So, after donning our bright colored safety vests and gloves, we went to work. What a beautiful day and what a great learning experience for my children! After we finished, we met up with other groups at NRH2O for a picnic. We laughed and danced and played silly games. I also had the opportunity to speak with some teenage girls who were pageant hopefuls; I hope I inspired them because the more I talked about pageants with them, the more excited I became about the Mrs. Texas pageant!
